Material & Immaterial

Ramadan is almost over... i am coming to the final week and next monday idul fitri will come.

Every year i feel the same way during ramadan, at the beginning I feel it would be the longest month but at the end, it seems so fast.

And every year, I ask myself what i have been done during this holy month and the answer is always the same, just a few. I believe that it's not what you have been practised will bring your heart and mind close to Him yet somehow I think that those are your means to be able to feel close. We are material and He is so immaterial. So, how come you want to be close, let alone being blended, when the nature is so different?

And as always, this thought finally will make me pray for another ramadan next year...
